Pickle - Making with the Hearth

Our coven has a tradition of making pickles in late summer or early fall. We sell our pickles throughout the year as a fundraiser to help us fund supplies for our events and running our church functions (we are a 501C-3 Nonprofit Religious Organization)

This has always been a fun community event in which the public is invited to come help us make pickles. We ask for donations of supplies for making pickles, as well as donations of your time and labor in a day of making pickles. Come and help - drop off your donations and stay as long as you want and help us make pickles. Those who donate to the needed supply for pickles as well as stay and help can take home one jar of pickles for free. We hope you will come join us, hang out and have fun celebrating the summer harvest with us!

Time: 11 am - 4 pm
Where: The Ever Green Hearth, Centralia WA

Supplies Needed:
1 quart wide mouth Mason Jars and Lids
White Vinegar
Pickling Cucumbers
Dill (Fresh, whole)

Garlic (whole cloves, peeled)

If you would like to make a monetary donation to help us purchase the supplies we need, please donate to our PayPal and add a note that says "For Pickles" with your donation.

Pickles will be sold for $20 a jar

1 free jar is given in gratitude to those who come to the event if you bring supplies and help make pickles!
